New York Fashion Week is the premiere global fashion event that dictates trends and culture for upcoming seasons. As one of the sponsors of the annual event, American Express always wants to find new ways to bring the glamour, prestige and exclusivity of this event its Cardmembers.
To answer this challenge in 2008, the solution was the American Express Fashion Network, which granted unprecedented Fashion Week access to consumer associated with the Amex brand. Cardmembers could watch every show live online through the brand portal, with real-time expert analysis, a post-show program hosted by celebrity stylist Robert Verdi and former runway superstar Roshumba Williams, and exclusive archives and interviews with designers, industry experts and celebrities. It was the most comprehensive, exclusive broadcast offering in the history of Fashion Week, with 96 hours of footage and over 141 million media impressions.
